Senior Antenna Engineer - Gateway Terminals

As a Senior Antenna Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the development of Gateway Terminals and Flyaway 2.4M systems. You will utilize your deep understanding of RF/Microwave, Antenna Engineering, and Electromagnetic Wave Propagation to contribute throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial conceptual design to high-volume manufacturing.

The primary focus of this role is the design and development of RF/Antenna Subsystems, including the Antenna Reflectors, for the Q/V-Band Gateway and the X/Ka & Ku/Ka Flyaway terminals. There is also a strong possibility of involvement in preliminary work next year for the 2.2M X/Ka & Ku/Ka system for the German Navy.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

• Establish RF/Antenna design specifications and implementation plans based on product requirements and critical performance characteristics.
• Perform electromagnetic simulations and analysis (using tools like CHAMP, CST, etc.) for RF circuits, antenna elements, and modules.
• Develop prototypes and optimize performance based on simulation results.
• Operate RF measurement equipment (e.g., PNF, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer) for design verification and performance measurement.
• Provide technical cooperation and liaison with internal development teams and external partners.
• Support production and manufacturing departments for antenna performance verification and troubleshooting.
• Provide field issue support and visit customer sites as necessary.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in RF/Antenna design and development based on product requirements.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience in RF/Antenna design, simulation, and measurement techniques.
• High proficiency in using RF/Antenna simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST).
• Experience in operating RF measurement equipment (e.g., Signal Generator, Spectral Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer).
• Experience in large reflector antenna design and development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and drive projects forward to resolve complex issues.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills (using Microsoft Office and relevant management tools).
• Experience in SATCOM gateway antenna design.
• Korean language proficiency (Preferred)
