Overview We are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant for the Latin America Region to support the LATAM Non-trade Accounts Payable Manager with Compensating Controls initiatives. In this role, the individual will be responsible for performing thorough reviews of Compensating Controls and assisting with all facets of the LATAM Accounts Payable payment reviews. The selected candidate will conduct audit like payment reviews, to ensure all payments adhere to global corporate accounts payable processes. Responsibilities will include completing timely payment reviews, creating and maintaining standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation, and contributing to special projects as required. Please note additional position details below: This is a temporary position that is anticipated to go for 3 - 6 months. There may be an opportunity to be converted into an employee upon successful completion of the assignment. This is a hybrid role with some office days in our Miami office located on 6100 Blue Lagoon Dr., Miami, FL 33126. We require a bilingual Spanish skillset. How you'll make an impact Lead a review of all information gathered from the Compensating Controls initiative with the local Latam offices to define and document local AP payment process requirements. Analyzing and preparing Compensating Control reconciliations, ensuring payments, vendor compliance validations, and approvals are processed and completed correctly against documented procedures. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Latam Accounts Payable Manager. About You Required Qualifications: High School Diploma 3+ years of related experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role. Multilingual – fluent in English and Spanish Vendor maintenance experience Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Account reconciliation experience Proven ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional Maturity- Self-starter Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree preferred #LI-MS2 Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package.
