Responsibilities The Project Manager, IT role combines project management expertise with team assistance, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and will operate as a team assistant with administrative and operational support to help drive IT initiatives forward efficiently. Schedule plans for system administrators and communicate with appropriate stakeholders. Co-lead the incident response planning system by maintaining runbook and coordinating exercises. Lead Disaster Recovery plan, including annual recovery testing and auditing backups. Plan, organize, and oversee IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements. Assists in the coordination and enforcement of systems, policies, and procedures. Determines project needs and acquires resources required for the success of the project. Create and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to gather requirements and provide project updates. Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise. Document project outcomes and lessons learned for future reference. Provides direction and technical guidance to project team members; communicates job expectations; and plans, monitors, and appraises job results. Manage documentation, files, and records associated with IT projects. Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project status and team requirements. Facilitate effective communication between IT Infrastructure and other departments or business units. Prepare and deliver regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management. Guide the team in following Agile practices to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Manage projects spanning multiple IT domains. Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in IT infrastructure preferred. 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within IT infrastructure or a similar technical environment. Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset. Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with M&A. Scrum experience preferred.
