Software Engineer- (Java, Angular) - Chennai

The Delivery Management function within NIQ. The Delivery Management provide all dimension instructions required to build an datasets and manage access rights for users to datasets. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
•  Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with both internal and external systems.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake, including schema design, query development, and performance tuning.
•  Utilize NoSQL technologies like MongoDB for scalable data handling.
• Implement strong logging, error management, and monitoring solutions.
• Participate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot production and development issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and deliver dependable resolutions.
• Use GitHub for source control, collaboration, and CI/CD workflows.
• Contribute to enhanced developer productivity with tools like GitHub Copilot.

• Hands-on experience as a Full Stack Engineer with strong proficiency in Java 8, Java 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
•  Expertise in writing unit and integration tests using Java and Spring.
•  Practical development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.
• Solid understanding of SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Strong working knowledge of NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
• Ability to produce clean, structured, and maintainable code.
• Proven success working in an Agile/SCRUM enterprise environment.
• Understanding of UX design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good awareness of CI/CD processes, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Prior exposure to AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
