Responsibilities What we're looking for: We are looking for a Quality Control Manager based at Polokwane Bakery. Succesful incuumbent will: Lead the FSQ agenda for a bakery and ensure compliance on all FSQ metrics. Own the implementation of Food Safety program and compliance with all Pepsico Food Safety mandates and AIB requirements. Performs compliance , self-inspections and systems audits on all internal systems and processes, and on external parties handling the company's products. Handles the quality related aspects of customers/ supplier complaints. Is the custodian of embedding Quality and Food Safety Standards at a plant, in consultation with the Plant Manager Accountabilties Ensure high quality and food safe products that conforms to specifications and consumer standards – accountable Ensuring that processes needed for the quality and food safety management system are established, implemented and maintained- responsible Quality and Food Safety Compliance -accountable Drive Quality and Food Safety mindset within the factory - accountable Reporting to top management on the performance of the quality and food safety management system and any need for improvement, - accountable Organizes audits vs internal and external referential and uses them as improvement opportunities-accountable Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization – responsible Influence the SC Bakery team to enhance compliance to food safety standards. Implementation of Culture of Quality initiatives at the site – Responsible Managing and ensuring of execution of Quality and Food Safety Standards for external service providers Investigation of Consumer complaints and issuing of reports Processes and System efficiency & compliance - consulted Team development & organization-accountable Capability Building - Ensure employees are trained on QM systems, policies & procedures and records thereof are retained in line with expected standards- responsible Manage own team.
