As an Industrial Security Manager – Level 2 located in  Boulder, CO, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.   

The Industrial Security Manager – Level 2 will serve as the Operating Unit Security Manager and site Facility Security Officer and oversee all security activities and operations, including guiding briefed/non-briefed personnel across all functions within the facility and interfacing with internal and external leadership personnel.

In this job, you will:

  • Oversee classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions as the Operational Unit Security Manager and FSO
  • Develop, maintain, and update company security policies in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), applicable DD254s, and contract-specific requirements
  • Maintain Boulder's facility clearance status in NISS and manage all required DCSA documentation including KMP submissions, self-inspections, and SEAD 3 reporting
  • Serve as the Crisis Management Lead for the Boulder facility
  • Maintain program security metrics and successfully manage competing priorities
  • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures
  • Ensure adherence to contractual requirements for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254s
  • Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCGs)
  • Oversee contracted security vendors, to include the on-campus guard force
  • Manage industrial security compliance and operations across multiple functions- PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Contract Security, Investigations and Document Control Management
  • Build a culture of employee engagement
  • Collaborate across teams within the organization
  • Develop and implement a robust security education program
  • Oversee internal and external security audits
  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels
  • Ensure all program performance objectives, as well as key milestones and deliverables, are met
  • Other duties as assigned

  

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience
  • Will consider an additional four years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) approvals within a reasonable period of time
  • Minimum of two years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); DoDM 5205.07, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security policies

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Active SCI access
  • COMSEC experience
  • Emergency/crisis management
  • Experience in managing Industrial Security programs and teams
  • Ability to execute Security and Program Management concepts
  • CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards 

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
