Location: Kraków
Hybrid model: Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join our Controllers Department. The role focuses on regulatory and internal financial reporting, as well as active support of the month-end accounting close. This position offers close exposure to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders, and is well-suited for professionals with strong technical accounting and reporting expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory reports, including Luxembourg AnaCredit and other BCL and CSSF regulatory reporting
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory data in line with local and EU regulations
- Preparation of internal financial reports for management and internal stakeholders
- Active support of month-end accounting closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Participation in process improvements, automation initiatives, and optimization of reporting and closing processes
- Support during internal and external audits, including responding to information requests
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial control, or regulatory reporting
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks, preferably including AnaCredit
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
- Experience with month-end close activities
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work with complex data sets
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Very good command of English (written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Experience in the financial services or banking sector
- Familiarity with reporting tools and financial systems
- Prior involvement in regulatory or accounting process transformation projects
