Leidos Health and Services Sector currently has an opening for a Tableau Developer Lead to work remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Military OneSource mission. The Military OneSource Program provides 24/7 support services for military members and their families, similar to a commercial Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This program provides a broad array of information, resources, education, referrals, and counseling to about 4.7 million participants which includes military service members, their families, and eligible civilians at locations worldwide. The Military OneSource program serves as a “one source” for resource and information encompassing a comprehensive support system.
The Tableau Developer Lead is responsible for leading the development, design, and configuration of data analytics solutions that support data gathering and aggregation to deliver efficient, high-quality service reporting that drives continuous improvement.
This role:
Provides oversight and technical direction for development efforts to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Collaborates to understand program requirements, client goals, and end-user experience needs in order to develop and configure appropriate reporting functionality.
Ensures that the analytical framework established is effectively incorporated into the reporting infrastructure to accurately capture and integrate diverse data sets from multiple data platforms.
Works closely with others to ensure that solutions are properly designed, configured, and optimized to support the programs tailored dynamic dashboards and reports.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise Tableau solutions supporting program operations and executive decision-making.
Provide technical oversight and strategic direction for Tableau development efforts to ensure alignment with program objectives and reporting standards.
Translate business and analytical requirements into scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that support leadership and Government stakeholders.
Ensure the analytical framework established by analyst is effectively incorporated into the Tableau reporting infrastructure to integrate diverse datasets across multiple platforms.
Oversee administration of the program’s Tableau Platform environments, including governance, licensing, connectivity, performance optimization, and security controls.
Manage the end-to-end data and reporting request lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, approval workflows, quality review, and delivery tracking.
Lead cross-functional data initiatives to identify trends, uncover optimization opportunities, and support strategic program decisions.
Oversee and optimize processes for data intake, validation, transformation, modeling, visualization, and communication of analytics deliverables.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of reporting outputs through validation, testing, and adherence to established quality controls and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with Reporting Manager to ensure dashboards and reports housed are properly designed, configured, and optimized.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to developers and related team members.
Drive continuous improvement in analytics solutions, reporting processes, and data governance practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with eight to twelve years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with six to ten years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing data analytics or business intelligence development teams.
Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise Tableau Platform solutions.
Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, data integration, and dashboard optimization.
Experience managing Tableau Platform environments, governance, licensing, and security configurations.
Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
Experience supporting executive-level reporting and strategic decision support initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical insights to senior leadership and Government stakeholders.
Experience working in cross-functional, Agile development environments.
Strong organizational and process optimization skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex data initiatives in a dynamic program environment.
U.S. citizenship and fluency in English required.
Ability to successfully pass criminal history, fingerprint background checks, and credential verification required.
Ability to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required.
Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms.
This position requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from, as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home.) Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
