Junior Data Scientist

Location: Mt Rainier

Responsibilities

• As the Junior Data Scientist, you will provide general data analysis, research, and documentation support across a variety of modeling and analysis efforts. You will work as part of a team under the supervision of senior analysts to support all aspects of analysis. Required Skills
• 1+ years of experience in statistics, operations research, or advanced mathematics
• Experience with R or Python
• Experience using scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Desired Skills
• Experience with optimization, modeling and simulation, prediction, estimation, decision analysis, or engineering management
• Experience analyzing large-scale datasets
• Experience with data gathering, cleansing, and parsing
• Experience developing and applying optimization and simulation models
• Ability to work in Windows and Linux OS environments
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science Compensation

Annual base salary range: $114,000-$135,000 USD (discretionary bonuses may apply; actual compensation varies by location, experience, education, and skill). About Nyla Technology Solutions
