Spontaneous Application - Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer ( m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join an infrastructure team responsible for building, operating, and securing complex IT environments. You will work on both cloud and on-premise platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security in sensitive and mission-critical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions
• Manage Azure environments (IaaS / PaaS) and Azure Active Directory
• Operate virtualized and containerized platforms (VMware, Kubernetes)
• Ensure availability, performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems
• Contribute to automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
• Use monitoring and observability tools to maintain platform reliability
• Apply ITSM / ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure
• Support security and compliance requirements in regulated environments

Technical Skills

• Cloud & Systems: Azure, Azure AD, RedHat Linux, Windows Server
• Virtualization & Containers: VMware, Kubernetes (Rancher, Kubespray – exposure)
• Networking & Platform: Nginx, Istio (exposure)
• Automation & Tooling: Git, Terraform, Helm (exposure)
• Monitoring: Elastic Stack, Grafana, Jaeger (exposure)
• Security: Secrets management (e.g. HashiCorp Vault – exposure)

Profile

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure engineering
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure and sensitive environments
• Experience in contexts requiring security clearance or similar constraints

Languages

• Fulent in French & English. ( Dutch is a strong plus)
