Summer Student Research Assistant 2026

The Student Research Assistant will contribute to an ongoing project funded by the National Science Foundation to develop community-based datasets for:

• evaluation using artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms
• increasing student competency in fundamental community-based research tasks such as data curation, analysis, and evaluation.  

The student(s) in this role should be a currently enrolled student at Augsburg University and one of the following: 

• A major in Data Science, familiarity with computational software and programming environments, and successful completion of DST 490 Data Visualization for Social Justice

or

• A major in Social Work or enrollment in the Master's in Social Work program, familiarity with qualitative analyses of datasets.
