Job description

  • Support the Corporate Governance Manager and the Corporate Legal team in its management and oversight of the legal entities that make up The Wonderful Company.  Tasks include assisting with the formation of new legal entities, maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with annual reporting obligations and other legal requirements and drafting various legal documents (e.g., resolutions to approve business decisions, board minutes, company operating agreements and powers of attorney).
  • Maintain a virtual entity management database for the legal entities.
  • Observe and assist the Corporate Legal team with a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and commercial agreements, by supporting research and diligence efforts, organizing and reviewing documents, and tracking deliverables.
  • Create presentations, documents and corporate organizational charts for the Corporate Legal team as well as for other departments in the Company, using PowerPoint, Visio and Excel.
  • Assist Legal Operations teams on a variety of tasks, projects, processes and initiatives as needed.
  • Work with other members of the Corporate Legal team to develop and implement ideas to facilitate process improvements.
  • Intent to apply to law school at the end of the 2-year clerkship.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superb organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a complex culture.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and open to new learning opportunities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and self-starter attitude with a strong sense of urgency and dedicated work ethic

Pay Rate: $33.69 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
