Job description
The Role
- Conduct credit analysis on a broad range of commercial credit applications, including reviewing bank statements, credit reports and financial statements
- Make lending decisions in line with a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA), credit policy and risk appetite
- Work closely with the sales team and liaise with brokers and customers to obtain information for assessment
- Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to business stakeholders
- Ability to manage high volumes and prioritise tasks
This Person Is Someone With…
- Previous working experience as a Credit Analyst/Underwriter operating within a DLA (Essential)
- Experience with SME credit assessment and an understanding of the SME market (Preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A continuous improvement mindset, embracing change and thriving from it
