The Bellperson will represent Fairmont Palliser by providing excellent guest service and will achieve this by having a complete knowledge of all aspects of the position. This position will be of interest to those who will quickly make a difference to service levels by demonstrating a relentless desire to exceed guest expectations. Reporting to the Chief Concierge. Reporting to the Chief Concierge.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent guest service and encourage positive employee relations
- Accountable for remaining productive and efficient while ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction
- Excellent knowledge and adherence of Fairmont standards
- Answer guest inquiries regarding Calgary and the hotel services and facilities
- Assist guests with all luggage needs
- Ensure the arrival and departure of all tours is a seamless process and competed in a timely, efficient manner
- Assist doorpersons with valet services when required
- Responsible for appearance of the hotel lobby to ensure a warm and welcoming guest experience
- Communicate with next shift to ensure smooth transition and completion of duties
- Adherence to all Health & Safety responsibilities as it pertains to hotel emergencies, fire alarms, accidents and security
- To relieve Night Bellperson when required
- Assist guests with Boulevard Level Services
What will you bring to this role?
- Must provide a Drivers Abstract and Class 5 Driver’s License, and have the ability to drive standard transmission
- Previous Guest Services experience preferred
- Must be in excellent physical condition and able to lift very heavy items up to 50lbs.
- Current First Aid and CPR preferred
- Knowledge of hotel services and Calgary an asset
- Willing to work night shifts
- Post Secondary education in hospitality an asset
- Must have a passion for the delivery of outstanding guest service
