Regulatory Business Analyst

We are looking for an external consultant , Regulatory Business Analyst, to join a Regulatory Initiatives Coordination environment and support the management of regulatory obligations, internal coordination activities, and cooperation with external bodies. The role focuses on monitoring regulatory developments, coordinating relevant internal units, conducting regulatory impact analyses, supporting governance-related activities, and contributing to the effective handling of regulatory initiatives within the banking environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and assess regulatory changes and updates issued by the Hellenic Bank Association and other regulatory bodies Inform and coordinate internal units regarding new regulatory requirements and consultations Participate in interbank working groups and HBA meetings Prepare well-documented responses to supervisory authorities Conduct legal and regulatory impact analyses Draft memos, reports, and recommendations Maintain and update the ERB–HBA Internal Governance Model Participate in regulatory projects, highlighting delays, issues, or risks that require escalation or resolution Analyse regulatory requirements and map the affected business areas Identify ownership of the regulatory framework within the respective business units

3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience within an established banking organisation Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field Good knowledge of the regulatory framework within the banking sector Ability to navigate legal and regulatory sources and identify relevant supporting documentation Strong stakeholder coordination skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Good command of the English language Experience in regulatory projects You will be a great candidate for us if you Have experience participating in Hellenic Bank Association working groups Are comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and business units Can analyse regulatory requirements and translate them into clear business actions Bring a structured and detail-oriented approach to documentation and governance activities Hold postgraduate studies in Compliance, Law, Finance, or Governance
