This is a brand new role will provide customers with onsite & remote consulting initiatives designed to identify opportunities to implement da Vinci Surgery best practice solutions in standardization, efficiency, staff training, cost containment, and block scheduling. You will also closely work with hospital leadership, as well as with Sales, Marketing, Customer Training, Customer Services, and Tech Support to ensure that customers have the necessary tools to launch, optimize and sustain a successful robotic surgery program. Genesis refers to a structured program supporting operating room and clinical process development in healthcare. Responsibilities: Support departmental and cross-functional projects to develop or improve Genesis processes, deliverables, and other material; Develop and maintain expertise in applications, usage and troubleshooting (proper handling, care and use of instruments and accessories); Conduct educational initiatives with strategically targeted customers; Manage complex, extended customer engagements and collaborate with customers, as well as commercial, service, and support teams to formulate multi-faceted, customized solution and recommendations based on hospital use patterns, processes, protocols, goals, and other feedback: Uncover customer needs, utilization barriers, and opportunities. Prioritize potential solutions and gain alignment with hospital leadership to help implement recommendations. Track progress and communicate status to customer on a schedule identified within the recommendations. Align with sales and marketing partners on delivering customized customer assistance, as needed; Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, measure, and optimize the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Genesis content programs; Run reports and analyze data when needed to prepare for customer engagements; Provide in person and/or remote consulting services to deliver value to the customer e.g. da Vinci Surgery Program Management standardization, efficiency, staff training, cost containment, and block scheduling; Participate in the training on and launch of new products; Report customer complaints to appropriate internal parties as they are discovered; Support the selection, evaluation of potential new reference centers and conducts reference center visits with customers.
Bachelor's degree; 3 years of documented professional experience in process improvement, coming from healthcare/hospital field is a huge plus; Proven ability to work effectively and drive results as part of a team; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present to varying group sizes; Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; Technical and systematic mindset as well; Business acumen – ability to function in an executive business environment and understand the business needs of the Operating Room; Communication – ability to deliver consistent and effective communication across organizational levels; Master complexity – ability to plan, organize, and oversee highly complex and strategic assignments involving multiple teams and individuals; Lean, Six Sigma or Change Management skills are of advantage; Advanced MS office (or equivalent) skills, project management skill set is advantage; Fluent in English and native Hungarian is required; Ability to travel overnight if needed; Driver license with willingness to drive.
