Job description
Meraki Group is looking for a proactive and experienced Facade Safety Officer to oversee and ensure the safety compliance of all façade installation activities on construction sites. The Facade Safety Officer will work closely with project teams to enforce safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and provide safety training related to façade works. Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies specific to façade installation. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on façade works to identify hazards and ensure mitigations. Lead incident investigations related to façade activities and recommend corrective actions. Provide safety orientations and toolbox talks for façade workers and subcontractors. Collaborate with site management to develop safe work procedures and emergency response plans related to façade operations. Maintain safety documentation including reports, records, and safety plans. Promote a positive safety culture among all façade construction personnel.
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a safety officer, preferably in façade or construction related works. Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations. Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred. Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and enforce safety protocols effectively.
