As we continue to elevate our standards of service excellence, we are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Benefits Coordinator to support the administration and coordination of employee benefits programs across all properties. This position will also provide support in key Human Resources functions, including leave management, regulatory compliance, employee file maintenance, and general support of employee well-being and service initiatives. Key Responsibilities Co-administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Coordinate employee leave programs (e.g., FMLA, maternity/paternity, SINOT, Workers' Compensation, short-term disability), ensuring compliance and accurate documentation. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, claims, and issue resolution. Maintain and update employee benefit records in HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Communicate benefits offerings clearly to new hires and existing employees; conduct benefits orientations as needed. Coordinate and support annual open enrollment processes. Liaise with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and maintain service standards. Monitor benefits eligibility and process enrollments and terminations in a timely manner. Assist in internal audits and compliance reporting (e.g., COBRA, Health Plan, Retirement Plan, ACAA, Workers’ Compensation, SINOT). Stay informed on relevant local and federal benefits regulations and ensure HR policies are updated accordingly. Create and distribute employee-facing benefits communications, including guides, FAQs, and notices. Maintain confidentiality of employee data and handle sensitive matters professionally. Ensure regulatory compliance and escalate complex issues when appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in human resources and benefits administration, preferably within the hospitality or service industry. Demonstrated expertise in employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, as well as leave administration such as FMLA, SINOT, and Workers’ Compensation. Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong internal customer service orientation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of local and federal labor laws, as well as HR compliance practices. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
