Additional Information About the Role BJC Health has an opportunity for a Learning Specialist. This is a hybrid role with an onsite expectations weekly to support New Employee Orientation (NEO), and ongoing technical support throughout the week. The role will serve as a go-to resource for learners and facilitators both onsite and virtually. Responsibilities include supporting learning operations in systems such as SABA (prior experience not required), assisting with database-related work, and producing basic reporting. The ideal candidate is technologically savvy, enthusiastic about learning platforms, and enjoys working with people. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for program logistics, system administration, and deliverables. Ensures accurate data is captured for functional area of expertise, maintains user security profiles, and supports users with proper use of the system. Responsible for assisting in the creation, delivery and maintenance of courses and resources offered through the learning organization. Creates content, graphics, speaker materials and participant materials that support the instructional intent under the direction of an instructional designer. Responsibilities Develops course materials for classroom and/or self-study that support the instructional intent outlined by the instructional designer. Assists in the assessment and design of training and learning initiatives in response to business initiatives. Initiates and communicates feedback from participants, faculty and management. Coordinates program delivery by assigning resources, including rooms and facilitators; managing printing; ensuring rooms have proper materials for each training event; responding to, or initiating, communication regarding learning programs. Provides systems support for assigned programs. Performs data entry, runs reports, assigns user security profiles, and provides troubleshooting support.
