Job description
Orion Group is looking for an experienced and energetic Talent Analyst to join our team! As a Talent Analyst, you will play a key role in our growth as you are responsible for sourcing, cultivating and hiring high potential candidates for executive positions across the holding company of Orion and its verticals.This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of spending 2–3 days per week in the office
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a diverse range of sourcing techniques, including desk research, online databases, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify and attract high-caliber candidates.
- Initial Outreach: Initiate contact with potential candidates via email, LinkedIn, or other appropriate channels, providing information about available opportunities and fostering initial engagement.
- Candidate Engagement: Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, addressing queries, and nurturing relationships to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs, ensuring a consistent flow of talent to support organizational objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to understand hiring needs, refine job descriptions, and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, application statuses, and sourcing activities within our applicant tracking system.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor practices, emerging technologies, and AI advancements in talent acquisition to enhance sourcing strategies and drive continuous improvement.

- Creatively identifying prospective candidates using a variety of channels and helping to identify new ones.
- Communicating with leaders to get a clear view of hiring needs and organizational goals.
- Continuously learning about our business, the way we work, and presenting that to potential candidates.
- Providing an amazing candidate experience.
- Building and managing an interview and selection process that is both streamlined and maintains an extremely high bar for candidate quality.
- Presenting strong candidates with detailed candidate profile summaries.
- Supporting hiring managers in closing candidates.
- Researching hiring trends to stay on top of best-in-class recruiting practices.
- Staying current on AI tools and trends shaping recruiting, and proactively adapting sourcing strategies and workflows to incorporate emerging technologies.
About You
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting and/or research.
- Excellent understanding of recruitment processes in a growth company.
- Familiarity with online tools and enterprise applications.
- Strong desire to build diverse and inclusive teams.
- Cultivates innovation. Has practiced and made decisions on using different candidates' selection methods, implementing new ones as the company scales.

Compensation & Benefits
A competitive compensation package will be offered. Base pay for this position ranges from approximately $70,000 to $90,000 and will also include an annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, financial and other benefits. Pay is based on a number of factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
