Position Summary

The Project Manager, AI & Automation Delivery is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives spanning Salesforce CRM, artificial intelligence, and enterprise automation programs. Reporting to the Director of AI & Automation Delivery, this role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT, and third-party vendors to plan, execute, and close projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate brings strong Agile and project management experience, a track record of delivering Salesforce and automation solutions, and the communication skills to align diverse teams in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a self-directed project manager who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. You are comfortable owning multiple workstreams simultaneously, can cut through ambiguity to keep projects moving, and build trust quickly with stakeholders at every level. You bring a practical understanding of Salesforce platforms and modern automation tools, and you approach continuous improvement not as a buzzword but as a daily habit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for Salesforce, AI, and automation initiatives from initiation through go-live and hypercare support.
  • Define and maintain project scope, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across one or more concurrent delivery teams.
  • Manage and prioritize project backlogs in JIRA, ensuring user stories are well-defined, estimated, and aligned to business value.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate system integrations, data migrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities across project workstreams.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates, steering committee presentations, and executive-level dashboards.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project momentum.
  • Manage Salesforce CRM implementation and enhancement projects including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform integrations.
  • Support AI and intelligent automation (RPA, workflow automation) projects from business case through production deployment.
  • Partner with business analysts and solution architects to translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation including charters, RACI matrices, decision logs, meeting minutes, and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to the development and adoption of project management standards, templates, and best practices within the department.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of project management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering technology or digital transformation projects.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies; hands-on experience facilitating sprints and managing backlogs.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and the Microsoft 365 suite for project tracking and collaboration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation (RPA, low-code/no-code) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related platform implementations.

Workplace Conditions

  • Hybrid or fully remote work environment with occasional on-site presence as needed.
  • Standard office environment when working on-site; may include visits to manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and manage global or distributed project teams.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through virtual collaboration tools (video, phone, messaging).

Location

This position is hybrid or fully remote (USA-based), but may require up to 20% travel to IEM facilities, vendor sites, or project kick-off meetings.
