Biochemist (Biophysical Characterization)

The following are the responsibilities and skillsets needed for this role:

• AUC (Analytical UltraCentrifugation)
• Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy
• Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
• Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)
• Static Light Scattering (SLS)
• Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
• Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy
• Infrared (IR) spectroscopy
• Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy
• Automated Liquid Handling/Measurement
• Mass Photometry
• SEC-MALS
• Buffer Preparation
• Adhering to Good Documentation Practices
• Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills will be necessary to interface with multiple clients at the same time.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and Power BI programming skills (preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in life science concentration (chemistry, biology, or related fields) and 2-4 years of directly related industry experience or a MS up to 2 years of directly related industry experience.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with people from a wide range of skill levels and experience
• Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity

• The position is full-time, Monday through Friday,  8am-5 pm
• May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
