English Literature Teacher

We are looking for a High School Literature Teacher for a Bilingual School based in Shanghai. This position is a available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026. About the school Situated in the bustling metropolitan of Shanghai, China, this bilingual school resides in the Pudong district and is spread across a terrain of 35,000 m2. It comprises of a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school divisions. The school offers courses that are based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs with the English language being the medium of instruction. Job responsibilities Teach the subjects of English and literature to high school students utilizing the IB DP or AP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Bachelor Degree or above More than two years related working experience Hold a teaching certificate Passionate and Energetic in teaching Excellent English communication skills
