Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture solutions for healthcare systems (payer/payee).
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Azure Databricks.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand healthcare data requirements including claims, enrollment, billing, and provider data.
- Architect scalable data solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
- Ensure data governance, data quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Lead data modeling efforts (conceptual, logical, and physical models).
- Integrate data from multiple sources including EHR, claims systems, and third-party vendors.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor data engineers and analysts.
- Implement best practices for data security, performance tuning, and cost optimization on Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, BI, and application development.
