Job Summary
The Hotel Manager plays a pivotal executive role within the resort’s leadership structure, working in close collaboration with the General Manager and the Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms. This position directly oversees the resort’s revenue generating departments and key operational functions, ensuring seamless guest experiences, strong financial performance, and the continuous enhancement of service quality.
The role requires a leader with proven expertise in luxury island hospitality, a warm presence in guest-facing environments, and the ability to inspire a multicultural team while driving operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operational departments under direct supervision, ensuring the highest service standards across the resort.
- Drive revenue performance, operational effectiveness, and departmental leadership development.
- Uphold and enhance the property’s positioning as a benchmark for luxury hospitality in the Seychelles.
- Reinforce a people‑centered culture, ensuring team engagement, training, and well-being.
- Collaborate closely with the GM and EAM Rooms in shaping strategic direction, guest experience initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Support the resort's upcoming development project and major refurbishment, contributing expertise to planning, coordination, and execution.
Experience & Professional Expertise
- Extensive leadership experience in luxury island resorts, ideally within internationally recognized brands.
- Solid F&B background with a deep understanding of fine dining operations; experience with award winning outlets is a strong advantage.
- Ideally, knowledge of golf operations.
- Proven track record in overseeing complex operations and achieving strong financial and guest satisfaction results.
- Experience managing teams in remote or island destinations, with an understanding of associated logistical and cultural specificities.
- Fluent in English and if possible in French. Any other language is a definite plus.
