We are seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to support and embed our enterprise risk and compliance framework across Australia. This is a hands‑on role ideal for a pragmatic risk professional who enjoys partnering with the business and turning requirements into action.

About the Role

Reporting into the CEO, this role plays a critical part in ensuring risk management and compliance practices are practical, embedded and consistently applied across the organisation.

You’ll work closely with Legal, Operations, Finance, Property, Sustainability and global Belron colleagues to support a strong risk culture and enable confident, compliant decision‑making.

This is not a tick‑the‑box role—it’s about influence, partnership and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Support the ongoing operation and uplift of the enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Maintain and update risk registers, controls and documentation
  • Assist in delivering the annual Risk Management Plan
  • Support risk assessments, reviews and mitigation planning

Compliance & Regulatory Obligations

  • Work with Legal to interpret regulatory and industry obligations
  • Support compliance across areas such as ASIC, APRA, GICOP, licensing and environmental requirements
  • Coordinate audits, breach management and remediation activities
  • Support Modern Slavery compliance and reporting activities

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare regular risk and compliance reports for leaders and governance forums
  • Monitor trends, emerging risks and remediation progress
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders

Business Partnering

  • Partner with leaders to identify, assess and manage risks
  • Support awareness and accountability across risk ownership
  • Facilitate risk and compliance discussions and forums

Training, Culture & Assurance

  • Support development and delivery of risk and compliance training
  • Assist with compliance monitoring programs and assurance reviews
  • Maintain evidence‑based compliance practices and registers

Business Continuity

  • Support the maintenance and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • 5–8 years’ experience in risk, compliance, governance or assurance roles
  • Working knowledge of enterprise risk and compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance in a complex organisation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Practical, detail‑oriented and solutions‑focused approach

Desirable

  • Experience in industrial, services, manufacturing or customer‑centric environments
  • Exposure to global or matrix organisations
