We are looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Legal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and is committed to supporting attorneys in driving cases toward successful resolution. Position Overview The Litigation Legal Assistant will support our litigation team in all aspects of personal injury cases, from filing through trial preparation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume practice. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation Prepare, format, and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.) Manage court filings (state and federal) and ensure compliance with deadlines Coordinate service of process and track proof of service Maintain and update case calendars (hearings, depositions, deadlines) Assist with discovery (drafting, responses, organizing production) Coordinate depositions, IMEs, and expert scheduling Organize case files, exhibits, and trial binders Communicate with clients, vendors, experts, and opposing counsel as needed Support trial preparation, including exhibit organization and logistics

Qualifications 2+ years of litigation experience required Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred Must be fluent in Spanish Strong knowledge of California court rules and filing procedures Experience with case management systems (Smokeball experience is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach What We’re Looking For Someone who embodies dependability and accountability A team player who contributes to a positive, high-performance culture A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of their work Someone aligned with our commitment to exemplary client service
