Job Summary:**
The Quality Certifier at Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. is responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements through meticulous inspection and certification processes.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects and non-conformities.
* Conduct a variety of quality tests and measurements using specialized equipment and instrumentation.
* Document inspection findings accurately and comprehensively, including photographic evidence when necessary.
* Prepare and issue quality certification documents for products that meet all specified standards.
* Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
* Maintain detailed records of inspections, certifications, and quality control activities.
* Assist in the development and refinement of quality control procedures and inspection checklists.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, company policies, and customer specifications.
* Participate in internal and external quality audits as required.
* Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
* Proven experience (2+ years) in quality control, inspection, or certification, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Proficiency in using various measuring tools and inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a factory environment.
