As a Casual / Part-time Houskeeper on our team, you will:

Collect all waste (soiled linen and garbage)
Spot clean walls and windows including blinds
Clean center core rooms and alcoves
Change bedside and/or shower curtains if soiled
Clean isolation and off-isolation rooms
Thoroughly clean washrooms
Clean all patient rooms
Vacuum (as required)
Lock to remove Sharp and Bio Containers, place in Soiled Hold
Disinfect all horizontal surfaces– paying special attention to “High Contacted Items”
Remove all tape and tape residue from walls and doors Restock Supplies
Damp dust above shoulder level
Dust and Wet mop floors’
Any other related tasks

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

A minimum of experience working with hospital housekeeping, facilities services, janitorial and custodial managing a team
High School diploma or some post-secondary education
Up to date vaccination record
Clear Criminal Background check 
Must be able to work 8 hours consecutively
Must be able to lift to 20 lbs
