Job description
AECOM is seeking a Database Management Specialist to be based in San Diego, CA.

As a Database Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and manipulating data to generate valuable insights and reports for our clients.
Job Duties include:
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Performs system-wide/cross-functional team management.
- Provides direction for projects.
- Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies.
- Project size is of high complexity.
- Viewed as a subject matter expert within the organization.
- Acts as a mentor to less senior IT staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Project Experience
- Relevant experience in the field.
- Experience with MS Excel, specifically the ability to develop pivot tables and use other advanced features.
- Data Management experience
- Under AECOM supervision, ability to work with a wide range of clients and have interaction with clients’ personnel.
- Ability to work with various staff in a wide range of disciplines.
- Good oral and written communication skills with external and internal clients, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with business analysis, business intelligence, and related tools.
