Overview

We are seeking seasonal grounds keeping team members to begin working in Spring/Summer months. This position is seasonal during the grounds keeping season and can work part-time hours. This position is flexible to work around school extracurricular activities. Applicants must be 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license in the State of Ohio and be insurable by Otterbein’s insurance.

Responsibilities

• This position will perform a variety of tasks involving maintenance of the Otterbein Community grounds.
• This includes, but is not limited to mowing, trimming, blowing, mulching, pruning, plant installation, watering, weeding, and fertilizing.
• This individual must have the ability to operate company equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred. High school students (at least 16 years old) and college students are welcomed to apply.
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Experience: Previous snow removal/mowing and related grounds maintenance or related work is preferred.
