Job description
Our client, a growing manufacturing company located in Coyol, Alajuela, is seeking to hire a: Human Resources Manager Position Summary The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading all HR functions for the Costa Rica operation, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with local labor regulations. The role will support the organization’s growth by implementing strategic HR initiatives and ensuring a positive employee experience across the organization.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality talent. • Coordinate recruitment activities with external agencies, recruiters, and internal stakeholders. • Design and implement HR programs, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals. • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational development. • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, coaching, and employee development. • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to strengthen employee capabilities. • Manage onboarding processes to ensure a positive and effective employee integration experience. • Oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management programs. • Manage employee relations issues and support conflict resolution when required. • Ensure compliance with Costa Rican labor regulations and corporate policies. • Support payroll review and approval processes. • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment is a MUST. 2 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources management, in a manufacturing . Strong knowledge of Costa Rican labor laws and employment regulations. Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and recruitment strategy. Experience working within a matrix organizational structure. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Advanced English proficiency. Availability to work on site in Alajuela.
