Primary School English ESL Teacher

We are looking for an English ESL Teacher for a private Primary School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting in the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in August 2026. About the school Located in Wuhou District in Chengdu, between the third and fourth ring roads, this distinguished private school offers a comprehensive educational program for children aged 6 to 15. The institution is divided into two main sections: a primary school serving students from first to fifth grade, and a middle school catering to sixth through ninth graders. The program specifically provides education for students from first to seventh grade, covering ages 6 to 13. Job details Teaching English courses (ESL) to primary school students in grade 1 to grade 7 and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments No more than 20 English classes a week from 8am to 5pm (subject to school schedule), Monday to Fridays

Bachelor’s or above Excellent English communications skills Minimum TESOL/TESL/TEFL qualification A minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience, with teaching experience of students aged 6 to 15 preferred
