THE ROLE

As our first CFO, you'll own finance end-to-end and partner with our leadership team on decisions that shape the company. Key challenges we face today are: redefining pricing architecture across seat-based and usage-based products, managing unit economics against evolving AI infrastructure costs, and creating a bundling strategy across our product portfolio.

Along with traditional finance responsibilities, you’ll define how finance operates in an AI-native company. We hold a strong opinion that most "we need more ops" asks are really "our systems are messy." A clean Salesforce, clean financial stack, and Claude agents do most of the work that used to justify headcount. Finance should set the template for how every function operates.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• FP&A end-to-end: operating model, unit economics, planning, forecasting, and variance
• Capital strategy: burn management, cash planning, runway, and decisions across debt, equity, and strategic transactions
• Operating cadence: month-end close, monthly forecast lock, monthly P&L review, board reporting, and external audit
• Revenue operations: Salesforce and other key GTM systems, quota and capacity planning, deal desk, and advising on go-to-market strategy
• Pricing and packaging (co-owned with Product and GTM): seat-based WFM, usage-based Agents, and the bundling strategy across both
• Team: hire for and lead a finance function that scales with the business

ABOUT YOU

• Well rounded. You've owned a mix of responsibilities across FP&A, accounting, and more. Maybe you have some non-finance background, too
• AI-pilled. You're on top of the latest models (Opus vs. Sonnet), implement AI in your day-to-day workflows, and keep your teams on the cutting edge
• SaaS fluent. You know the drivers of a SaaS business cold. Ideally you've seen $30M → $100M
• Board-facing. You can translate analysis into clean narratives for senior leadership and investors and drive them to clear decisions
