KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the West Region production team, ensuring alignment with the overall content strategy and Red Bull’s brand objectives.
Oversee the development and execution of production plans, budgets, and timelines across multiple simultaneous projects.
Collaborate with Producers and key stakeholders to develop and refine content ideas, ensuring they meet Red Bull standards and audience expectations.
Identify and develop new story angles for existing projects, genres, and recurring content opportunities (e.g., athlete and artist projects, sports, music and dance events, third-party partnerships, brand and priority pillars, and key field projects).
Ensure that all productions are executed in accordance with Red Bull Media House Production Management guidelines and requirements (including rights clearance, delivery standards, metadata, production schedules, and budgets).
Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the production team.
Manage relationships with external production partners, talent, and agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Producers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including marketing, programming, and communications teams.
Provide regular updates on project status and progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
Build a local network of production companies and key industry players in the region.
Establish effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, particularly national Media Network and marketing teams.
A bachelor’s degree in film, television, communications, or a related field.
At least seven years of experience in content production, including a minimum of three years in a leadership role.
A proven record of successfully managing and delivering high-quality content projects.
A strong understanding of the media landscape in the western United States, including established relationships with production companies, talent, and agencies.
Experience in managing and developing a team of creative professionals.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
A well-developed creative vision and strong storytelling skills.
A deep understanding of production processes and workflows.
The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse teams.
Experience in budget management and strong financial acumen.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
A genuine passion for content creation and storytelling.
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $115,280 - 172,920 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
