It creates ads, builds matching landing pages, allocates budgets across different channels, and more. We are building the AI engine that will manage and spend the world's marketing budget.

About The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and proactive Forward Deployed Engineer to join us at Uplane. You will not just be building features but rather collaborate closely with customers to rapidly identify their most pressing challenges and design and implement solutions to address them. You will be shaping solutions where they matter most: the customer's bottom line.

Responsibilities

• Technical Deployment & Integration: Build and deploy custom integrations and features that allow our Uplane software to sit seamlessly within a customer's tech stack
• Customer-Led Prototyping: Rapidly build and ship solutions for specific customers, then work with the core team to integrate these into the main platform.
• User-Centric Design: Apply sound product and design judgment to build user-centric software features aligned with current market and customer needs.
• Collaboration: Engage directly with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to executives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in fast-moving, customer-facing roles
• Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in building responsive frontends using React/Next or Vue.js and the Nuxt framework.
• Backend Expertise: Strong backend development skills in TypeScript/Node.js and experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases.
• Strong creative judgment with a sense for marketing.

Nice to Have

• Demonstrated ability to work directly for or with customers.
• Experience with AI integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.).
