Job Summary As a Project Coordinator, you will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, including tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and preparing status reports and presentations. Facilitate communication across project teams, coordinate meetings, and contribute to process improvements while supporting the identification and resolution of risks and issues. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for management. Facilitate strategic communication with project managers and team members. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance project management practices, sector communication, and cross-sector collaboration. Support the monitoring and communication of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Organize and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and risk registers. Support the coordination and administration of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports. Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and other project-related events. Support the identification and resolution of project issues and risks.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-3 years of experience. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience working in a government contracting environment is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Travel Requirements This is a remote position in the DMV area; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
