Cleaner Pay: £13.24 per hour (£25,818 based on 37.5 hours per week) Hours of work: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00am – 5:00pm A quick look at the role The Cleaner is responsible for ensuring all public conveniences within the Stratford District and Town are opened and closed on time, maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, and cleaned in line with the contract specification. This role involves carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, replenishing consumables, responding to one-off emergency cleans, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for members of the public. Your core responsibilities Open and close all public toilet facilities on time, carrying out daily cleans to the agreed contract specification and replenishing stock as required. Complete scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, and four-weekly deep cleans, including waste removal and full sanitation of facilities. Respond to one-off cleaning requirements caused by flood damage, fire damage, or vandalism to restore facilities to a safe and usable condition. Ensure all cleaning activities are completed safely, reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or stock shortages promptly to management. Our essential requirements Willingness to undergo and successfully pass an enhanced DBS check. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while maintaining high cleaning standards.
