Join Our Team! Are you an experienced technician who thrives in environments where technical expertise, problem-solving and attention to detail are essential to success? We employ hands-on, experienced technicians within our Emergent Group companies Acubis (based in Mackay, QLD) and Novecom (based in Newcastle, NSW). Our technicians work in the field to support the deployment, maintenance and repair of critical environmental monitoring and telecommunications systems, ensuring they are safe, compliant and performing at their best. Our technicians are the trusted point of contact on site - building strong customer relationships, planning and delivering maintenance activities, and installing and commissioning equipment safely and professionally. This role suits technicians who understand that reliable systems and satisfied customers go hand in hand.
Qualifications We're looking for qualified electricians, auto electricians, or technicians with qualifications in one or more of: Electronics Electrotechnology Telecommunications Radio communications CCNA Certification and ACMA Open License (Acubis roles) Experience Technicians with the following will be considered favourably: Ability to install, calibrate, repair and maintain electronic field systems, environmental monitoring equipment, radio communications, CCTV systems or wireless and wired communications technologies Experience with fault identification, trouble shooting and repair Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team Mine site experience or experience working on field equipment About the Role Our technicians support customer sites throughout QLD and NSW so we are open to applicants based in locations throughout these states. When we find the right person for our team, we work with them to achieve the right work life balance. As mobility is a key requirement for this role, a company vehicle is supplied. With some of our clients in remote locations, when you are away for work, we organise accommodation and pay a LAFHA for each night you're away from home. We are offering full time and part time positions. Start date is flexible.
