Construction Project Manager Location: New York City Experience Required: 5+ years construction management (NYC preferred) Project Type: Residential renovations Overview Chapter is hiring a Renovation Project Manager to lead projects end-to-end across field and office operations. This role sits at the center of execution — coordinating clients, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining control over schedule, cost, and quality. You will be mentored by the Head of Construction and expected to operate with increasing autonomy. What You’ll Own Full lifecycle management of renovation projects (pre-construction → closeout) Client communication and expectation management Estimating, budgeting, and material takeoffs Scheduling and day-to-day site coordination RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Vendor coordination, pricing tracking, and procurement support Sample tracking and approvals Leading weekly project meetings and internal updates What Matters You can run a project without constant supervision You communicate clearly — with clients, subs, and internal teams You stay organized under pressure and don’t lose control of details You understand NYC construction constraints (permits, logistics, timelines) You move between site and office without friction Qualifications 5+ years in construction/project management (NYC experience strongly preferred) Background in construction, architecture, or engineering Experience with renovation projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit Strong written and verbal communication Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly Team-oriented, accountable, and execution-focused Positioning This is not a coordination-only role.
