Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit. Responsibilities The Nurse Manager—Medical/Surgical Unit will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care. As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in unit-based planning, budgeting, manpower/staffing and education program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care. Qualifications Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school is required. Current New Jersey RN license or a current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing. Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in a medical/surgical unit required BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
