Position Location This position is located onsite in Gulfport, Mississippi. Benefits include: Access to Federal Employee Health Benefits (20+ plan options) Dental and vision insurance Employer-paid life insurance Employer-paid short/long-term disability 401(k) with company match Paid time off that increases with service Paid Holidays Responsibilities Essential Job Duties: What You’ll Do: Lead and manage daily cafeteria operations in a high-volume environment Supervise, coach, and hold accountable a team of food service staff Oversee food production, quality, and nutrition standards for a high-volume residential program Plan menus, manage inventory, oversee ordering, and control food cost controls Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards Support budgeting, reporting, and operational planning You’ll Thrive Here If You: Take ownership and run a tight, compliant operation Know how to lead a team - not just work beside them Can manage a budget and deliver quality meals Are passionate about mentoring and developing others Stay calm, organized, and solutions-focused under pressure Job Requirements Mandatory: We’re seeking a leader who can balance structure and heart: 5+ years of food service experience At least 1 year of supervisory experience Strong background in cost control, inventory, and kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable Experience in institutional or high-volume settings ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Disclosures Chugach Government Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
