Position Overview
Salary: $79,000 - $127,043.00 Annually

The DOT Analyst is a technical role responsible for the configuration and advanced user support of applications and hardware used in the planning, development, deployment, and operation of transportation services. Candidates will work closely with the Agency IT Portfolio Manager as the primary subject matter expert to ensure that software solutions meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide configuration and advanced user support for transportation technology applications and hardware.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for systems including GIS, CADD, and survey applications.
- Collaborate with the Agency IT Portfolio Manager and business units to ensure software solutions align with user requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience Required: Two years of related specialty IT experience (e.g., system engineering, network engineering, information security, application programming, systems design, GIS, custom report writing, or cloud-based software integration).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability in developing database queries, generating reports, and troubleshooting network programs and hardware.
- Capacity to design complex systems and perform preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous IT work lead experience.
- Prior experience in government IT environments.
- Advanced technical credentials, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
