US Tax Specialist for US-based company ( Remote )

Paired is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable US Tax Specialist to join our remote team supporting a US-based company. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate tax compliance and providing tax-related guidance to our clients. As a US Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing tax documents, reviewing tax data, and assisting with tax filings in compliance with federal and state regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams and utilize tax software tools to maintain tax accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal and state tax returns and related schedules. Assist with tax research and interpretation of tax laws relevant to client situations. Ensure compliance with current tax laws, regulations, and deadlines. Collaborate with team members and clients to collect and organize tax information. Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audit readiness. Utilize tax software and CRM tools to track and manage client tax files. Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders via email and virtual meetings.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in US tax preparation or compliance roles for high net worth individuals Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations. Proficiency with tax software and CRM systems, experience with Canopy CRM is a plus. Exceptional written communication skills for clear client interactions. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple client engagements. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. CPA or EA certification is preferred but not required.
