Position: FULL STACK DEVELOPER Salary range : up to Php 150,000 Philippine Peso (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.) Working Hours: Monday to Friday following New Zealand business time Work set-up: 100% Remote work (Independent Contractor Agreement) Holidays : New Zealand Public Holidays Recruitment process : possible multiple client interviews and assessment OVERVIEW We are seeking two experienced Full-Stack Developers to join a remote engineering team building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. You will contribute to the development of mission-critical platforms used across multiple digital products and services. This role requires strong technical depth across backend and frontend development, cloud environments, and API-driven architecture. You will also play a key role in shaping system design decisions and improving overall platform performance. The environment is fully remote, agile, and async-first, with a strong focus on ownership, autonomy, and engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities Full-Stack Development Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python (Django, FastAPI, Tornado), JavaScript (React, Node.js), and PHP (Laravel, Symfony). Build responsive and intuitive frontend interfaces based on UI/UX designs (Figma, Adobe XD). Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Database & Integration Design and manage relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, analytics tools, and cloud-based APIs. Implement secure authentication and authorization systems (JWT, OAuth2). DevOps & Cloud Support Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar. Support deployment and monitoring of applications in AWS environments. Assist with containerization using Docker where required. Engineering Quality & Collaboration Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Develop and maintain unit and integration tests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Culture & Work Style Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal). Collaborative and open to feedback, with a continuous improvement mindset. Comfortable working in a distributed, global team across multiple time zones.

Must-Have Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience. Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with frameworks such as React, Node.js, Express, Laravel, Django, or FastAPI. Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization. Proficiency with Git and modern software development workflows. Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with microservices architecture and API gateway management. Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, OWASP guidelines, and API hardening practices. Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience in SaaS, fintech, or cloud-native product environments.
