Job description

STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING AND EXECUTION

Lead a team responsible for calling on 7‑Eleven Zone and Region Field Leaders to leverage Red Bull’s assets and create clear differentiation from competitors.

Influence 7‑Eleven Zone and Region Field Leaders to execute incremental promotions and programs beyond the foundational plan in order to increase volume and gain market share.

Utilize Red Bull marketing assets and manage the associated funds allocated to accelerate business performance in priority regions.

Consistently meet or exceed volume and revenue targets.

Develop communication processes that ensure alignment and clear understanding of strategies and goals. Produce national communications, including business updates, promotional programs, and resource materials distributed across the national network (both internally and externally).

Communicate, align, and implement Cross‑Functional Team objectives across RBNA.

Monitor market trends and relevant consumer and competitive insights to adjust and drive regional business plans.

Drive internal alignment within the regions through annual roadshow presentations, in‑market store visits, and Distributor Partner visits.

BUDGET OWNERSHIP

Take ownership of and manage custom POS budgets, regularly evaluating return on investment to guide future spending.

Allocate resources to strategically important, high-volume regions where investments deliver the greatest return.

Lead the post-promotion analysis process for all programs to assess promotional effectiveness and in-store execution.

LEADERSHIP, COACHING, AND DEVELOPMENT

Build, develop, and lead a large, geographically dispersed team of Regional Sales Managers to ensure effective partnerships, programs, key retail relationships, and collaborative relationships with Red Bull and Distributor Partner (DP) field personnel in each region.

Grow, develop, and lead all direct reports in alignment with Red Bull’s standards.

Develop a strong pipeline of future Red Bull leaders while ensuring career development for the entire team.

Direct account managers to create and execute effective programs and build strong key retail relationships.

Coach and motivate direct reports to increase productivity through time spent in the field, in the office, and in meetings to implement Red Bull’s strategy.

WIRE TO WIN

Maintain and strengthen business relationships with senior management across 7‑Eleven at the regional level.

Ensure Regional Sales Managers follow established processes that keep retailers and key regional decision-makers focused on the energy segment, supported by strategies and tactics that are either national in scope or tailored to regional needs.

Maximize the impact of Red Bull’s cross-functional support within 7‑Eleven by building strong connections between regional marketing and sales teams.

Communicate regularly and work effectively with all Red Bull regional teams.

DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT

Partner with the distribution network to maximize in-store presence and consumer impact.

Establish the necessary tools and business review templates to ensure data consistency with Business Units (BUs) and Distribution Partners (DPs).

Leverage Business Insights and analyst teams to provide the distributor network and field teams with robust selling tools.

Align the Distribution Partner (DP) network with the appropriate 7-Eleven personnel.

Collaborate with DP senior leadership to drive business in the highest-volume regions.

CUSTOMER PROFITABILITY MANAGEMENT (CPM)

Maintain a strong working knowledge of all Red Bull systems (BI, IRI, CPM, Workbench, etc.).

Lead business priorities, objectives, and results within CPM (a long-term business transformation process) as they relate to all Key Account processes.

Develop training programs and processes to ensure CPM becomes part of the RBNA culture.

Continually seek ways to improve and streamline processes.

A minimum of 7 years experience in Sales and Key Account Management, with a strong track record of success.

Proven experience managing a large, high-performing team.

Strong analytical skills, with experience using both internal and external data sources.

Demonstrated leadership ability to recruit, train, develop, and motivate the 7‑Eleven team.

In-depth knowledge of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industries.

Proficiency in analyzing data from sources such as Nielsen, IRI, CPM, and internal sales data.

Strong leadership presence, with excellent communication and active listening skills.

Advanced skills in strategic thinking, planning, financial management, decision-making, sales presentations, and negotiation.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

High level of proficiency in software packages such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as internal systems such as CPM and SAP/BI.

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $115,280 - 172,920 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
