The successful candidate will be a team player working with a cross-functional team including mechanical, hardware and FPGA design, software development and project management to deliver and maintain best in class products for the global market. This position will be mainly responsible for the deliveries of hardware development tasks including design, test, documentation and post release support.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Schematics capture for hardware designs
- Hardware validation planning and execution
- Architecture, design and verification of FPGA modules
- Support product certification
- Perform electronic component qualification
- Troubleshooting of hardware related failures
- Support qualification and acceptance testing
- Providing technical support for production and service
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
- 3 years of experience with digital hardware design
Desired Characteristics
- Basic knowledge of microprocessor based embedded design
- Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
- Basic knowledge of EMC/EMI
- Familiarity with Schematics Entry and PCB Design workflow using Altium
- Familiarity with electronics lab test equipment and test methods
- Familiarity with FPGA design flow using Diamond, Quartus or Vivado
- Ability to plan, execute and document assignments
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Proactive approach to tasks
- Experience with EMC/EMI validation and electrical pre-certification tests
For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $79,700 and $132,00 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: 10% AIP.
