Key Responsibilities

• Drive commercial business development for 3MG by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
• Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, proposals, and bid packages for commercial roofing projects.
• Evaluate project plans, specifications, site conditions, and customer needs to develop complete scopes of work.
• Estimate and sell commercial roofing projects with a focus on single-ply and flat roofing systems.
• Conduct site visits, roof inspections, and field measurements as needed to support estimating accuracy.
• Build relationships with property managers, general contractors, building owners, and other commercial clients.
• Follow up on submitted bids and proposals to help convert opportunities into awarded work.
• Collaborate with internal operations, production, and leadership teams to ensure scopes, pricing, and project handoff are accurate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience is required
• Strong knowledge of single-ply roofing systems and flat roofing applications, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, or modified bitumen.
• Experience estimating commercial reroof, replacement, repair, and maintenance projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing assemblies, materials, labor, and production considerations.
• Comfortable working both in the office and in the field as needed.

This position is primarily onsite in our Winter Park office. When you’re not estimating you’ll be building relationships and building a sales pipeline!
