Job description

THE POSITION

As a Quality Tech, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining work instructions for production areas and equipment.
  • Testing and conducting routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished product, using variety of testing devices and procedures to maintain product quality.
  • Performing Risk Assessments on production equipment and processes.
  • Inspecting incoming materials to determine acceptability to drawings/requirements / Receiving and inspecting incoming products.
  • Performing dock audits on outgoing orders to validate the accuracy.
  • Reviewing manufacturing processes to ensure standards are being followed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical Certification or associate degree
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 systems and requirements
  • Experience in performing incoming inspection
  • Experience with product/process auditing and documentation
