Sr. Electrical design engineer

Responsibilities

• Load List, Feeder Lists, Cable Sizing Calculations, transformer Sizing calculations, CT/VT Sizing calculations, Relay setting and coordination study, Earthing Sizing Calculations, Tray Loading, Lighting System calculations, Bus duct sizing, Battery Sizing and UPS calculations.
• Strong Experience designing low voltage controls panel including switchgear panels, MCC and relay panels. Schematic wiring diagram preparation.
• Should have knowledge of ANSI, NEMA, NEC, UL.
• Creation of Technical Specifications for Transformers, LV Switchgears, DC and UPS System, LV Cables, Lighting-Cabling-Earthing System components, Control and Protection System, protection relays, Rectifiers, and bus ducts.
• Performing small Feasibility studies for appropriate specification finalization. Strong communication skills.
• Layouts-Cable Raceways, Grounding and Shielding System, Indoor and outdoor lighting, Electrical Equipment Layout- Substations, Transformer yards, Switchgear Rooms, Hazardous areas.
• Preparation of Bill of materials for major equipment and bulk items for hazardous and safe areas.
• Vendors offer review and creation of technical evaluation reports. Can handle a team.
• Single Line Diagrams, Protection, and metering SLDs, SCADA/SAS architecture, I/O Lists,
• Communications, meetings, coordination with multidisciplinary engineering team, professional consultants, vendors, suppliers, contractors.

• Working experience in multidisciplinary EPC environment.
• Hands on with design engineering of MW scale industrial/ process plant /energy/ power generation/ oil and gas/T&D projects.
• Ability to create deliverables from scratch.
• Proactiveness and agility to work in start-up industry.
• Flexible to handle tasks given beyond defined responsibilities as per project needs.
• Accustomed to work on fast track projects with high time commitments.
• Ability to deliver on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and implement the fast track and intricate technological developments in Hydrogen ecosystem.
• Good knowledge of Electrical Codes and Standards (IEC, IEEE, IS) and their implementation in day-to-day deliverables.
• High level of proficiency in MS office tools like MS Office, MS Excel.
• Strong experience and understanding of AutoCAD.
• Shall have knowledge of power system studies e.g. Short Circuit current calculation, Load flow study & Harmonic analysis and softwares like ETAP.
